Permanent make-up in Niles

The guiding principles of the plan were: 1) variety of lot and the size of the building (keep old houses existing low-density), 2) individuality of structures and architectural details, 3) film and railroad heritage, 4) quiet street tree canopy and 5) preserve the relative isolation and same-containment while keeping the existing viaducts connected to Permanent make-up in Niles Blvd. The development of the property of the railroad (which was disappeared in 1976, when it updated the plan 1969) was considered crucial to "maintain a viable central commercial area."
